Policies
General/Etiquette
Golfing Attire
Appropriate golfing attire, including shoes, is mandatory. NO
athletic shorts or tank tops will be permitted. What is acceptable
and considered appropriate are "walking or Bermuda-style
shorts" that reflect modesty and good taste. To avoid embarrassment,
please advise your guests of this policy. Radrick Farms does not
permit metal spikes in golf shoes!
Travel Between Nines
Please do not walk across the first tee when going between the
ninth and tenth hole. This is not only for your safety, but also
to avoid having an unsightly, worn foot path. Follow the cart
path around the rear of the first tee.
The 10th tee is reserved for you 2 hours from the time you
tee off from the first hole. Feel free to purchase refreshments
from the food cart and then MOVE ON! Golfers are not permitted
to sit down and eat between nines; doing so will back up the entire
golf course.
Cell Phone Policy
The use of cellular phones on the golf course is strictly limited
to emergency situations such as doctors who need to be contacted.
Ringing phones are a distraction to other players. Using a cellular
phone not only delays your group but also the play of all the
other golfers behind you. Violators of this policy will be asked
to have their phone held at the golf shop while they are playing.
You are encouraged to carry a cell phone, turned off. They are
helpful in emergency situations.
Staff & Golfer Courtesy
The staff is committed to fulfilling the mission of Radrick Farms
Golf Course. They will do their utmost to make the necessary rules
an addition to rather than a detriment to an enjoyable golf outing.
The privilege of playing golf at Radrick Farms carries with it
the implicit responsibility of adhering to regulations. Additionally
it is expected that golfers and staff will interact politely.
Instances of rude or berating behavior will result in suspension
of playing privileges or employee discipline.
GOLF COURSE ETIQUETTE
Good golf course etiquette results in faster rounds, better
course conditions, and greater enjoyment of the game. Please follow
these easy reminders at all times:
- Watch everyone's ball until it stops rolling; line it up
with a reference point beyond it.
- Use "FORE" as a warning to other players.
- Replace divots and repair ball marks, yours and others. The
staff is happy to show golfers the proper way to repair ball
marks!
- Drive golf carts safely, obey directional signs, and stay
at least 30 feet from greens and tees.
- Stay on cart paths as much as possible.
- Do not practice or talk excessively on the course during
play.
- Never throw or bang clubs; it can be dangerous.
- Leave golf carts or bags to the side of the green on the
way to the next hole.
- Step over others' putting lines; do NOT scuff greens.
- Place your litter in waste containers; pick up other litter
on the course.
- When speaking, use proper language and volume. Refrain from
shouting. Respect golfers elsewhere on the course.
BUNKERS: Never walk up the bunker faces! Always
exit out the back and walk around the bunker. Always rake the
bunkers. Leave rakes in the bunkers, parallel with the ball's
line-of-flight from the tee to the pin.
