Eboard applications are DUE FRIDAY, MARCH 5TH, BY 5PM. If you want to apply for Eboard, you MUST give a speech during our March Mass Meeting. Elections will be held then. In order to run for President or Vice President positions, you must already be on Eboard or a committee chair. All other positions are open to all members. National Collegiate Officer and Webmaster positions will have to undergo interviews instead of an election. You can find all applications on the "Documents" page.

The committee chair applications are also attached. THEY ARE DUE FRIDAY, APRIL 6TH, BY 5 PM. These are not ballot-elected positions, and instead, the new and old Eboard will interview members for the different positions.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser for Haiti relief was a great success and we would like to thank all of those involved! This event wouldn't have been possible without the support of volunteers and the generosity of those who came to Bdubs. There was a lot of excitement about the event and a lot of people came out to Bdubs on State Street to show their support. The event caught the attention of WOLV TV and Sam Hern and Christina H. went on the program discuss what the club and American Red Cross are doing to help the survivors in Haiti.

The University of Michigan beat Ohio State in the 28th Annual Blood Battle! We collected 2,449 pints and OSU collected 2,350 pints, which, combined, has the potential to save over 14,000 lives! Congratulations to all those involved in the blood drive, including the Red Cross Volunteers and Donors. Thank you for all for your hard work and dedication to Red Cross and more importantly to the thousands of lives we all helped to save.

Christina H, Amanda C, and Samer went on 104.3 WOMC right before the half time announcement to talk about blood battle and the club! You can listen to the recording below.

Fire Safety Drills

Just as a reminder, here is a description of the event: The Red Cross provides fire simulations to participating Greek life houses around campus. House members are not informed ahead of time. Instead, the fire alarm is pulled at participating houses, and real fire trucks arrive with lights and siren blaring. Volunteers are present to observe and record people exiting the house in order to evaluate their preparedness and share additional preparedness information. If you would like to volunteer, please email UmArcFast@gmail.com or DisasterEducation@wc-redcross.org with your name and phone number.
