      Rendez Vous Cafe (Middle Eastern)
      Maze 'n Blue Deli (fantastic sandwiches)
      Red Hawk (hot sandwiches, soup, nice burgers)
      Bruger's Bagels
      Panchero's Mexican Grill
    • Michigan Union (Subway, Wendy's, Mrs. Field's Cookies, Pizza, & Chinese

    • Mid - Nice:
      Zanzibar (like Red Hawk, only more fancy)
      Cottage Inn (pizza from wood-burning oven)

    • Fancy (dinner costs ~$14+):
      Blue Nile (all you can eat quality Ethiopian food, interesting experience)

  • To See:
    On campus: Anima (UM Animainia Club puts on Japanese animation marathons once a month)
    Fuller Park (swimming pool, water slide)
    The Arb (a park with trees, flowers, walking paths, river)
    North Campus (UM art and engineering buildings, short bus ride)
    Media Union (North Campus - huge media center)
    The Diag (center of campus park, great place to people watch & feed the squirrels)
    Top of the Park events (concerts, movies, food)

    Off Campus:

    • The Ann Arbor Hands-On Science Center
    • Several Movie Theatres
  • Supplies:
    • Clothes, sheets, etc
      Briarwood mall, with department stores, little shops, and restaurants, is a short 15 min bus ride from campus. Buses leave regularly from the Union.

    • Groceries, small appliances
      A Meijer's is also on the bus route, and offers discount groceries, fans (the summer can get quite hot) and other household supplies, and more.

    Also, several shops around campus sell clothes, supplies, music, posters, and books.
