How To Submit a Claim

Physicians, nurses and other health care professionals must report incidents to the Medical Center Risk Management Office for investigation.

A patient, or member of a patient's family, should be referred to the Medical Center Risk Management Office if they express a concern regarding their treatment.

If a law suit is received, it must be immediately submitted to the Health Systems Legal Office.

All calls from outside agencies or persons concerning malpractice insurance or incidents should be forwarded to the Medical Center Risk Management Office for handling.
