Fees for Resident and Day Campers

The fee for resident campers is $630.00, which includes room and board from Sunday, July 29th until Friday, August 3rd. The fee for commuter campers is $475.00, which includes lunch during camp, Monday through Friday. Commuter campers may purchase tickets for breakfast or dinner during the week of camp. Please note that space is limited in the South Quad Residential Hall. Register early to guarantee University Housing.

Registration and Payment Procedures

To register for camp, please download the registration and camper information forms, fill out the forms, and mail them with a check payable to the University of Michigan. Mail the forms and fee to Michigan Rowing Summer Camp 2007, Athletics Department, University of Michigan, 1000 South State Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. You will receive confirmation by email (or phone if you prefer) of camp registration within five days of its receipt.

A. To register for Michigan Rowing Summer Camp 2007, please download, complete, sign, and mail with payment 1) the Camp Registration form and 2) the Camper Information form. If you prefer that we mail you a hard copy of these forms, please email us at <rowing.camp@umich.edu>. Once we email you to confirm that we have received these two forms and your payment, your camper will be registered and, if your camper is a residential camper, space in Michigan's Summer Camps of Champions residence hall will be reserved.

B. To participate in Michigan Rowing Summer Camp 2007, please download, complete, sign, and mail the following two forms: 1) the Parent/Guardian Consent, Medical Release, and Release from Liability Agreement form and 2) the University Housing Rules and Regulations form. Given our proximity to the start of camp, please complete, sign, and mail these two forms to us when your register (in other words, with the Camper Registration and Camper Information forms). If you prefer that we mail you a hard copy of these forms for you to complete and return, please email us at <rowing.camp@umich.edu>. Shortly after we receive these two forms, you will receive from us a "What to Bring to Camp" checklist and information about arriving at camp, contact information during camp, the rowing exhibition the final day of camp, and more.

C. We anticipate that many campers will meet other campers and make friends when they arrive in Ann Arbor. If a camper knows another camper previous to attending camp, however, and would like to request a roommate preference, please download, complete, and mail the Roommate Preference form with the two other forms listed here by June 15. Submitting this form does not guarantee roommate assignment. The best way to ensure roommate selection is to arrive together at the on-site check-in on July 29th. We will do our best to grant requests we receive before on-site check-in, but Campus Housing makes the final assignments. Cancellation Policy

Your camp fee, less a non-refundable administrative fee of $50.00, will be refunded if you cancel no later than June 15, 2007. If you cancel between June 16 and July 15, 50% of your camp fee will be refunded. A refund will be granted for medical reasons at any time prior to the start of camp if the request is accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician declaring the camper unable to participate in camp activities. No refunds will be given after the start of camp.
