One more thing about NCAA rules and contact between prospective rowers and Michigan coaches: NCAA rules prohibit coaches from placing or returning phone calls to or text messaging (new rule) anyone not currently a senior in high school. You may email or call Michigan coaches, and coaches may email, but not call or text, you -- even if you call and leave a message -- unless you are a high school senior.
