SACUA has agreed to continue holding meetings throughout the summer and will use the opportunity to: 1) review the charge to SACUA, Senate Assembly, and its committees mandated by Regental Bylaws; 2) meet with various committee chairs to plan next year's activities; and 3) improve the SACUA website.

SACUA is committed to enhancing communication next year. The Chair will continue the practice of sending monthly emails to the faculty on all three campuses. In addition, agendas and minutes of SACUA and Senate Assembly meetings will be distributed widely.

At its Retreat, SACUA identified the following items as possible topics for the upcoming year. SACUA will continue its discussion of these items at its summer meetings.

• Corporate sponsorship in athletics and research;
• Implementation of the Life Science Initiative;
• Developments in technology and the virtual university;
• Faculty compensation guidelines
