On
August 30, 2004, SACUA held its annual retreat at the home of SACUA Vice Chair
Silvia Pedrazza. The focus of the
retreat was to identify the issues of high priority for SACUA, Senate Assembly
and the Senate Assembly committees. Relying,
in part, on a faculty-wide opinion poll sent out in June, SACUA prioritized
central faculty governance issues for the 2004-05 academic year as follows:
