Faculty Governance Update to the Regents

THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN
REGENTS COMMUNICATION

October  2002

Senate Assembly will host the following open-to-the-public events:

PRESIDENT'S SENATE ASSEMBLY ADDRESS - On October 14, 2002, President Mary Sue Coleman will give her first address to Senate Assembly at 3:30 p.m. in the Hale Auditorium of the Business School.

REGENT CANDIDATES' FORUM - Immediately following the President's address, SACUA will hold a Regent candidates' forum from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a short reception following the forum.  Candidates will be asked to respond to questions from the audience.  The following Regent candidates have agreed to participate:

Ismael Ahmed          (Democratic Party)

Susan Fawcett          (Green Party)

Rick Gualdoni          (US Taxpayers Party)

Andrea Newman      (Republican Party)

Matt Petering           (Green Party)

Andrew Richner       (Republican Party)
