The General Counsel's Advisory Committee (GCAC) is advisory to the Vice President and General Counsel.
The committee identifies, advises, and consults on
legal issues of importance to the
entire University in conjunction with SACUA and Senate Assembly.
Established by Senate Assembly according to Regent's Bylaw 4.06 :
...The assembly shall establish standing committees to advise and consult with the vice presidents of the University on matters within the areas of their respective responsibilities....
