MICHIGAN SAILING CLUB
FALL LASER REGATTA

Overview
|
The Michigan Sailing Club invites you to enjoy a day of
exciting short course, small lake sailing. We plan on holding ~ 6
races with a throw-out. The courses will be Olympic (triangle windward
leeward) or Windward-Leeward.
There will be no registration fee. We will collect an optional $5
to $10 fee at registration for lunch. Or you may bring
your own food and drinks.

Rules
|
The regatta will be governed by the rules as
defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2013-2016,
the Rules of the Laser Class and the Sailing Instructions.

Eligibility
|
The Regatta is open to all Laser sailors. You
don't need to be a member of the Laser Class Association
to race. You don't need to be a member of the Michigan Sailing Club.
Radial and 4.7 rigs are eligible, but no handicap will be applied.

Club Boats
|
Only current club members with at least
their helm sailing signed may sail club boats.
Club members should register by
September 9 to reserve a boat. After that date, boats will
be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
