The Michigan Alumni Regatta will be held Sunday September 16th this year! The regatta is weekend of the Notre Dame Game, which has proven to be an exciting and fun game to attend. After the game on Saturday, all graduates visiting are asked to come out sailing at the Lake the fallowing Sunday. It will be a fun filled afternoon with warm weather and great fall wind! Alumni will get to sail in our new fleet, which we have been able to get thanks to their contributions. So call up your friends and come back to the Michigan Campus to visit and enjoy a weekend of great football and sailing!

The Notre Dame game will be held in the Big House Stadium on September 15th. Individual tickets for this game go on sale July 18th and came be purchased online by going to http://www.mgoblue.com/ and clicking on the tickets tab located on the side menu.

The Regatta will be held at the Sailing Club on Baseline Lake. Lunch will be served at eleven o’clock and the first race will begin at twelve o’clock. The Regatta fee is 50 dollars, which will cover the cost of food, drinks, and prizes. Contact Katie by email at obrienca@umich.edu if you are interested in attending. You do not need to organize a boat in order to participate. We will gladly supply sailors for either position. If you are coming for the weekend with non sailing team alums they are also welcome to come as well. The weekend is all about having fun and getting to sail!

All Alumni are encouraged to attend. We host this event in an effort to keep the Michigan Sailing Team connections strong. It offers a chance for new member of the team to meet past members. Keeping such connections strong help the team to stay what it is and allow old traditions to be passed along. We hope that you can come and be a part of it!
