Michigan Sailors Honored at Midwinters
The Sailing Team accepted many distinguished awards at the 2006 Midwinters Conference hosted by Purdue University. Among the winners were Meredith Cochran '06, Lisa Vandenbossche '07, Dave Ellis '06, Christina Falcone '07. Congratulations to all!...Dave was named to the all-district skipper team. Meredith and Lisa were named to the all-district crew team. Christina was named to the female all district team and she also won the women's single-handed season. Finally, the team was awarded the Team Race Championship. Again, congratulations to individual winners and to the team as a whole! It was a very successful year, and we hope to build on these tremendous accolades in the upcoming season!
