Incoming Freshmen
Any incoming freshmen who are thinking of joining the team, email our recruitment chair Blake Griffin, bjgriff@umich.edu. Do not schedule classes after 3:00 on Tuesday and Thursday so you can make practice.
End of Season
The sailing team completed our amazing season by sending our women's team and team race team to ICSA Nationals in San Francisco. Our women's team competed in one day of Semi-finals, where they finished in 16th place. The team race team finished in 13th place.
We also sent our coed fleet racing team to ICSA Semi-finals in Boston. The event was held at Volvo Village in conjunction with the Volvo Ocean Race stopover. The team saw some amazing boats, and even got to walk onto Puma's practice boat. It was a great experience for everyone who came.
All in all, we were very pleased with our results of the Spring season and cannot wait for the fall season to begin!
