The Clothesline Project is an event honoring the experiences of survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, incest or child sexual abuse. It targets violence related to sexual orientation, and victims who have died as a result of sexual violence.  The words of survivors and their supporters are displayed on t-shirts that they have created. Each year, the NPAs host a t-shirt painting event for survivors and their supporters.

The Clothesline Project will be displayed at this year’s Survivor Speak Out, an event that provides a safe place for survivors of sexual violence and their supporters to share their stories.  Come see the display of t-shirts, support survivors, and/or share your own story on November 12th, 2009 from 7pm – 9 pm at the Michigan League Ballroom.  If you or your organization would like the Clothesline Project displayed at an event, please contact our office .
