The Silent Witness International Initiative, also known as The Silent Witness Exhibit, was founded in 1990 to honor women who have been murdered by domestic violence. Their mission is to promote peace, healing, and responsibility in adult relationships in order to eliminate domestic murders. SAPAC volunteers display the life-size wooden silhouettes of the victims and their stories around campus throughout the year.
The Silent Witness Exhibit will be displayed at this year’s Survivor Speak Out, an event that provides a safe place for survivors of sexual violence and their supporters to share their stories. Come see the exhibit, support survivors, and/or share your own story on November 12th from 7pm – 9 pm at the Michigan League Ballroom.
