Triangle works to ensure equality and freedom from violence, intimidation, and discrimination for the LGBT community in Michigan. Kate's blog discusses the changes, innovations, and obstacles of this year of transition for Triangle from her unique point of view as Interim Director of the organization.

SAFER and their student activists work to improve their schools' sexual assault prevention and response programs to ensure that all students have a safe and healthy learning environment. Change Happens: the SAFER blog covers a variety of topics including sexual assault, feminism, teen pregnancy, birth control, and activism, among many others.

abyss2hope is the blog of a writer who was sexually assaulted by her partner at the age of 15. In the blog she chronicles her struggles as a rape survivor after 20 years of silence and guilt. She discusses her own experiences as a survivor, giving others a chance to see that they are not alone in their experiences, as well as encouraging activism and understanding about sexual violence.

WIMN's Voices emphasizes that women are interested in all types of issues (not just topics that are considered "women's issues") and make a point to report on a wide variety of topics, including humor, criminal justice, body image, hip hop culture, disability issues, sports, technology, parenthood and many more. Finally, the blog serves as a role model for the media to include women's voices in the mainstream press.

The Masculinity in Media blog comes from Men Can Stop Rape, an organization that mobilizes young men in preventing violence against women. Men Can Stop Rape promotes alternative visions of male strength and encourages men to be allies with girls and women. One way this organization is pursuing its mission is though blogging. Masculinity in Media critically analyzes film, television, magazines, music, and newspapers for the way they depict men and masculinity. The blog's goal is to respond to the ways in which the media shape images of "real men" and break down these stereotypes though analysis and criticism.
