Calvin Klein is selling clothing through portrayals of unconsented sexual activity. In this ad, the male model is on top of the woman, straddling her and pinning her down as she pushes him away with her hand on his chest. Her face is turned to the side and has a blank gaze. His hand is on her chest trying to take her clothes off while she is resisting with her own hand. This is problematic because it normalizes and glamorizes rape through the portrayal of sexual activity without consent.
