Come party with SCOR holiday style at Cafe Felix on 204 S. Main St. From 7-10 is the mixer with free hors d'oeuvres, egg nog and punch, and a full bar. From 10pm to 1am is the after party with a live DJ. $5 cover for people arriving after 10. The money will recompense SCOR VP Jennifer Yim for the cost of the SCOR Wine Tasting.

18th Annual SCOR Conference

MESA brings the HHC to UM this year. The theme is “Politics, Globalization and the Hip Hop Generation.” Registration is on site. Scheduled guests include Professor Griff of Public Enemy, Prince Whipper Whip of the Legendary Cold Crush Brothers, OneBeLo, DLabrie and the Motor City Hip Hop Revue featuring Baatin of Slum Village, Invincible, Supa Emcee, 5 ELA, Versiz and more.

 

 

Decision Time: Lifting Smokescreens, Dropping Knowledge

Friday's events include a Conference kick-off faculty panel and reception at 6:30pm, followed by an after-party

Saturday begins with a full breakfast and roundtable discussion, followed by student research panels. Lunch will be followed by a keynote address from noted legal scholar and Dean of the Law School at Wayne State University, Frank Wu. His remarks will be on race beyond black and white. The afternoon concludes with more concurrent student research panels and a brief closing ceremony.
