Kudos 2005

At the 2005 Annual Banquet and Initiation Ceremony on April 20, 2005,
the following Junior and Senior High School students were honored
for their work presented at the Southeastern Michigan Science Fair in mid-March:

Senior Division

Dominique Cox (Morenci High School): "Two Thories and One Battle"

Clara Lee (Huron High School): "Speed of Sound Versus Temperature and Humidity"

Junior Division

T. Patton Doyle & Blake Barnes (Tappan Middle School): "What are Tuned Mass Dampers?"

Zornica Hadjiyski (Forsythe Middle School): "Chaos"

Amy Thompson (Forsythe Middle School): "The Better Tasting Chocolate"


The following individuals were honored for fifty years of active membership in Sigma Xi:
Brice Carnahan, David B. Cox, Thomas E. Moore & Frederick C. Neidhardt


The following individuals shared the Outstanding Science and Math Teacher of the Year Award, which is sponsored by a generous donation from Pfizer Global Research and Development, Ann Arbor Laboratories

Matt Admiraal (South Lyon High School) and Ann Novak (Greenhills School, Ann Arbor). Both teachers were nominated by their respective principals. The Chapter is very grateful to Pfizer for their ongoing financial support of this Award.
