USA-5 Canada-3
2/20/10 - The Epsilon Chapter met to cheer on the boys in Red, White, and Blue as they battled Canada in Olympic Hockey. There was plenty of food, and a great turnout, as the Americans walloped the hometown team. Canadien-born member, Zach Stern, boasted before the game that he couldn't lose, as he grew up in Texas. He was docked one half of a win for his cocky attitude.

Robert Hause III
2/4/10 - One of the most notable Sinfonians ever to come out of the Epsilon Chapter passed away after a long battle with illness. He was the 2nd National President (1991-1994) ever to come from the Epsilon Chapter, the first being Burleigh E. Jacobs, who served from 1918-1919. Hause also served as Province Governor from 1976-1985, and kept the spirit of community and service with him, as he was very active in the local arts community. Hause, born and raised in Shelby, NC, came to the University of Michigan for his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Trombone and Music Education. Hause taught music in the Jacksonville (FL) Public School system, at Stetson University (1962-1965), and East Carolina University (1967-2005).
