Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) (

CCTV allows users to enlarge text or objects and is helpful for people with visual impairments. In addition to
enlarging text, users can change print contrast. For example, users can choose to view dark type on a light
background or light type on a dark background, whichever is easiest to read. Users can also adjust brightness, magnification, and focus.

The Reading Edge (

The Reading Edge (Vitae) is a reading machine for people who are blind or visually impaired.
It combines a scanner, character recognition, and speech synthesis to scan and read back text.
The Reading Edge scans any type of printed page and converts the image of the page to text.
The speech synthesizer can read the text aloud immediately or save the text in its memory for
retrieval at a later time. The Reading Edge can be connected to a PC, Macintosh, or a UNIX computer.

in their adjustability but most adjust for back angle and height,

Special Keyboards (Top of Page)
There are three special keyboards: a floating arms keyboard, a comfort keyboard, and a
kinesis keyboard. The floating arms keyboard is a split keyboard; each side of a traditional

keyboard is split into three parts but not attached to a chair. The kinesis keyboard's keys
are in a concave formation within the keyboard frame and is of particular value for users with moderate digital impairment.
