The School of Public Health Library & Informatics Multimedia Lab Computing Site is located in Room M2030 of the SPH II Building on Central Campus.

The School of Public Health Library & Informatics (PHLI) Multimedia Lab Computing Site has an array of computing facilities available for use. The site contains 4 Windows workstations, 2 scanners, 1 ErgoPod, 3 black and white printers, and one color printer that are all maintained by Campus Computing Sites. There are also workstations in this lab that are maintained by the PHLI.

Adaptive Technology ErgoPod: The basis of the ergopod is an Ergoquest model 500 sit-stand-recline workstation. This workstation is designed to accommodate sitting and standing users as well as all types of wheelchairs. This platform was modified to include 2 CPUs (Mac and PC), closed circuit TV system, scanner, and flat panel attached to a monitor arm. A KVM switch is used to switch between the Mac and PC. Software is acquired from a special loadset supported by Campus Computing Sites and includes JAWS, Magic, Kurzweil 3000, and Dragon Naturally Speaking for the PC and Ilisten for the Mac.

Color Printer: The PHLI site contains 1 color printer. The printer is available for all Faculty, Students, and Staff to use during normal operating hours. Color printing is not included in the Basic Computing Package, and the cost per page will be $0.40 which will be billed to student or departmental accounts. Scanner Stations: There are 2 scanners available. These scanners are available for all Faculty, Students, and Staff to use during normal operating hours.
