The Shapiro Undergraduate Library is home to two different General Use Computing Sites:
![]() The Shapiro Undergraduate Library Computing Site has an array of computing facilities available for use. The site contains 29 Mac OS and 23 Windows workstations. The Shapiro Undergraduate Library Lower Level Computing Site contains 18 Campus Computing Site Windows workstations in addition to 24 CAEN workstations. |
Click here for Site Hours Cyber Stations: Five e-mail and web-only express stations are located in the Lobby area at the front of the Shapiro Undergraduate Library. These stations provide a quick and easy way to check your e-mail and surf the web without having to wait for a regular-use station. Electronic Classrooms: The Shapiro Undergraduate Library computing site (Rm 2054) is comprised of one Mac OS and one Windows classroom equipped with computers and AV projection equipment. Information on reserving these classrooms is available on the Classroom Reservations and Software Submissions web page. Scanner Stations: There are three scanners available. Two scanners are installed in the Shapiro Computing Site on the second floor. One is at a Macintosh full-use workstation, and another has been installed at Windows full-use workstation. There is also a scanner in the Shapiro Lower Level Computing Site. These scanners are available for all Faculty, Students, and Staff to use during normal operating hours. Color Printer: The Shapiro Lower Level site contains a color printer which can print 8x11 and 11x17 pages. The printer is available for all Faculty, Students, and Staff to use during normal operating hours. Color printing is not included in the Basic Computing Package, and the cost per page will be $0.40 which will be billed to student or departmental accounts. Tabloid (11x17) printouts are counted as two pages per side. More information on color printing in Sites is available. 64-SITES: The Shapiro Computing Sites are Unstaffed. If a site is in need of maintenance, call 64-SITES (Option #1) to report the problem, and a staff member of the Sites Environment Support Team will be sent to troubleshoot the problem or restock the Site.
