For the 2008-2009 school year, K-grams has paired 10 U of M residence halls with 10 elementary schools in the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Detroit area school districts. Three to four classrooms in each school are pen pal classrooms, and one in each is a BookMARK classroom. We also partner with the school to do our edu-active projects. The kids (both elementary and college) love it!
