The 60 members Smile Programming Council (SPC) is the main programming board of K-grams.  Together this group of fine directors, Chairs and Committees, Hall Heads, and BookMARK Coordinators put together all of the fun and educational programs that are a part of K-grams.  The SPC is composed entirely of students, and offers all students an opportunity to get more involved with this great program!

All of our K-grams programs are run and supported by a student-run programming board, the K-grams Smile Programming Council (SPC).  The SPC encompasses over 20 separate roles and 60 members from all areas of campus. Roles range from working directly with the elementary schools and teachers to making newsletters, designing the website, and raising funds. There are all sorts of opportunities!

If you are interested in getting more involved with K-grams, you might consider joining the Programming Council.  Applications are made available and then collected during the winter term.  Make sure to check out the role descriptions to find out what role might fit you.  You may also want to talk to current SPC members to get a feel of what certain roles entail and what the SPC is like.  All applicants must submit an application by assigned due date and then must partake in a short interview.
