Sociology Equipment Requests

The Department of Sociology offers resources for you to use in courses or various other Sociology Department sponsored instructional related events on the LSA Building's 3rd and 4th floors.

Requests are on a first come first served basis and require at least one (1) FULL business day to process. The requester will be responsible for picking up and dropping off the equipment in the Sociology Computing Office (Room 3148 LSA Building).
The requester will be responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession (signed out to them). The requester(s) will cover the cost of repairs or replacement of the equipment if there is damage due to negligence.
Students who are not GSIing for an LSA/Sociology course or are not part of the LSA/Sociology Graduate program are required to have an LSA/Sociology faculty member sign for the equipment.

Follow these steps to reserve a resource.

1. You can check for the availability of a specific piece of equipment by checking this calendar.
2. Enter the information requested in the Loaner Resource Request Form below.
3. Click on the submit button.
4. NOTE: If you are making a reservation for a re-occurring meeting, make this reservation for the first meeting then describe other dates/times you want the reservation to cover in the 'Description of use' box below.
