- Reader comments:
- This book was okay. It wasn's brilliantly written but neither was it boring to read. The characters were well explored and many dimensioned and the plot was very engaging. I liked the idea of Meg blossoming into a tall fiery beauty after seeming like a duckling just years before. The viscount and the lady, I feel, will last long in their marriage unlike some books I've encountered before. (H.S., 4-21-98)
