Reader comments:
This book was horrible. I cannot believe the heroine actually fell in love with such a horrible man. As the other reviewer put it--he had absolutely no redeeming qualities. (A.S., 4-12-97) This book was so awful, I was amazed that ink was wasted to print it. I'm use to books where the hero has at least one good quality, with this hero I was waiting for a flaming arrow to kill him and put both the heroine and myself out of misery. (S.T., 1-23-97) Well written, with good research. (S.C.L., 8-4-96) I loved this book. Miss Deauxville has created an impassioned novel that will make you laugh and cry. (A.T., 7-23-96)
