- My roommate in college read one book by Amanda Quick and said she didn't like her, but I love her. She's one of my favorites because she proves that no one is perfect, even the main character, and imperfection is a good caused to be loved. I have, thus far, collected all but three of her books under this name and that 3 includes her new one "With This Ring", which is next on my agenda. (L.W., 5-19-98)
Talk about laugh-out-loud funny!--I do hope the Author gets a chance to read these rating comments often--They're hilariously great! Bless you people for such endearing comedy. I've had a great time! (S.J., 3-14-98)
I love your books!! Please keep them coming!! My daughter & I are always excited to see a new one written !! THanks! (I.T., 2-25-98)
Nice, but not so good as Seduction or others by the author. (P.M., 1-21-98)
great read. can't wait until next one comes out. is there a fan club out there? (D.M., 1-13-98)
This was one of my first Amanda Quick novels and I really enjoyed it. In fact I enjoyed it so much I continued on to her other books. I liked them all so much I continued to her Krentz novels. (T.Y., 5-21-97)
Sebastain is the BEST hero, I loved him, he was strong and senstive. He was exactly what a man should be! This was my 1st Quick novel but 3 months later, I had read them all! (K.P., 4-26-97)
One of my all-time favorites by Amanda Quick. I appreciate the fact that her female characters are not perfect. This book was both amusing and sexy; a definite reread. (L.F., 4-26-97)
Dangerous was a wonderful read, lots of humor & adventure. All Amanda Quick Books are a great read in my book (D.A., 3-27-97)
this is so far the best Amanda Quick novel that I have read. I loved Sebastion and Prue they are truly wonderful characters. Thanks for the hours of escape you offer with each book. (K.C., 3-17-97)
Amanda Quick is truly a leader in historical romance , all her books were funny and lovable as well as realistic. Keep writing !! (R.F., 3-5-97)
Amanda Quick is the best romance writer today! I've read all her books and this is one of the best. (C.R., 1-12-97)
Rereading Dangerous again. I love this book; one of AQ's best. (Y.P., 1-4-97)
I just love all her books under what ever name she uses.
What I love the most is her humor...Sometimes her humor
is so good that I smile for days. DANGEROUS was no exception. (P.H., 11-9-96)
As with all of Amanda Quicks books (i.e. Jayne Krantz) her characters are refreshing, different and more alive than the norm. She weaves a wonderful tale that enchants her audience. Just keep writting. (D.M., 10-22-96)
Why are all her books the same? I've had just about enough of the darkly fascinating hero, even if he did originate with Jane Austen's Darcy. (E.C., 10-21-96)
Every Amanda Quick book is a treasured friend and a definite keeper, and this one is no exception. Funny, toucking, and somehow modern des[ite the Regency setting. Buy it! (E.H., 9-29-96)
All of Amanda Quick's books (and those she writes as Jayne Ann Krentz) are almost identical. Despite that they are generally amusing, light, and entertaining. Predictability is not always a bad thing. (S.W. & N.G., 8-31-96)
The very best thing about books by Amanda Quick is that the heroines
always have a minor flaw, i.e. wears glasses, too tall, too smart.
Of course, I don't think of these as character flaws, but society
sometimes does. You can relate to these characters, unlike the
characters in, for example, Danielle Steele's books which are always
perfect. (K.S., 7-24-96)
I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I SIMPLY LOVE YOUR BOOKS AND I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM. BUT PLEASE, CONCENTRATE ON THE OLDE ENGLISH PERIOD AND NOT SO MUCH ON THE MEDIEVAL PARTS. BY THE WAY, I AM A MALE STUDENT AGED 20. (J.E., 7-7-96)
