- I loved this book and have kept it and read it several times, I'm glad to see others agree. (A.P., 3-25-97)
C.A.Matlock is a terrific author who writes down in the gut and to the
bare soul real feelings...like when the hero/heroine is scared of losing
each other or just trying in their minds to logically sort thoughts and feelings
out in a way that is down to earth and oh so very true and honest.
Reactions from Linc & Billie and each of the kids are reactions and
feelings I would find in my own life with my own husband and kids.
Her way of sharing the feelings of the characters of this
book makes the reading so much more enticing and I couldn't wait to
see how these lives would come together but at the same time I was
also pained to know that my visit with this family was going to end.
A must read!! (V.F., 2-23-97)
