I have to say that even though AL is not one of my favorites, Maiden of Inverness was! (L.W., 5-19-98) I have always enjoyed reading Lamb...especially when the subject matter is Scotland! I thought the two main characters were appealing, and the initial love scenes were promising. However, I found the "big" love scene to be too unbelievable (for a virgin, she did not require much warming up). I also thought the ending was a bit abrupt. I would have had a love scene there.
