The SORC provides low-cost campus publicity resources to student organizations and university departments. The SORC also offers a copy machine and fax machine at low cost, as well as access to Campus Computing Sites computers and printers. Publicity and office equipment aside, balloons are our specialty! We take walk-in orders for small bouquets, large orders for organization events, and even special deliveries to residence halls.
Thanksgiving Hours of Operation and Adjusted Advertising Deadlines
- Bus signs and table tents scheduled for placement on 11/29 will be due on Wednesday, 11/25 before 6pm. If you need SORC to glue-mount the bus signs for you, they must be submitted 24 hours earlier.
- Diag boards and banners scheduled for placement on 11/30 will be due by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 11/30. Late fees will be waived until 3:00 that day, and signs submitted before that time will be placed that night.
- Advertisers are encouraged to submit their materials early.

Fall 2009 Advertising
- Diag boards, Diag banners, table tents, and the Michigan Union banner
- Because the demand for these services far exceeds the supply, a lottery is conducted each semester for Diag boards, Diag banners, Table tents, and the Michigan Union banner. Online applications for this lottery will be available on December 1.

- Bus signs
- Reservation requests for bus signs for the Winter semester will become available at midnight on December 1.
- Reservation requests are only accepted online. If you need in-person assistance, one of our clerks would be happy to help you with the online form.

- Reservation requests for digital ads are available now.

- Walk-in reservations are not accepted, although our clerks are happy to help you submit the online request form (in person) if you need assistance.
- Glass Showcases
- Demand for glass showcases is typically not high enough for a lottery. Therefore, glass showcase reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Reservations for the Winter semester will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15. If would like to reserve space for dates prior to January 15, stop by SORC to place your reservation.
Winter Break Hours of Operation and Adjusted Advertising Deadlines
- Bus signs scheduled for placement on 12/11 will be due on Thursday, 12/10 before 3:00 p.m. If you need SORC to glue-mount the bus signs for you, they must be submitted 24 hours earlier.
- Bus signs and table tents scheduled for placement on 12/13 will be due on Friday, 12/11 before 6:00 p.m. If you need SORC to glue-mount the bus signs for you, they must be submitted 24 hours earlier.
- Diag boards and banners scheduled for placement on 12/14 will be due by 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, 12/13.
- The last placement route by SORC drivers will be Thursday, 12/17. Diag board canvases and banners can be placed late (with payment of a late fee) if they are submitted before 5:00 p.m. on this date.
- After 12/17, SORC does not do any new placements or regular weekly routes until January 10.
