And here are a few snapshots from the far less invigorating (and almost slavish in its sheer duration) cookie extravaganza at the Union kitchen a few days later. After 4 hours on our feet, slumped over a table rolling dough, it felt more like "Cookiegate" than "Cookiepalooza."
