My costume, which I threw together in two hours last night (can you say "procrastinate"?), has been getting rave reviews at work, so I thought you might like to see it.

Yup, the hair is mine.  And yes, it's permanent.  People at work say it looks good, but it's too much for me.  As soon as Loreal gives me the go-ahead that it's safe, I'll begin the process of going back to my normal (dyed) color of strawberry blond.  It'll be a several-stage process, so if you see me somewhere in between (varying shades of auburn) you'll know why.

A dozen people I know have walked past me without knowing that it's me!

I have a cauldron too, but I only wore this costume at work, and that's too many props to carry around!  I refuse to put a wart on my nose....the green eye shadow was bad enough.

I heart Halloween!

Here's me and student leader Steve K. (who paraded as Mr. Rogers in the costume party that night):

How about a trip down memory lane?

Here's the costume I had worn since 1999.  I finally "retired" it this year (it was falling apart). Some of my mom's awesome costumes when we were kids (Click to read) Halloween 1988 in East Quad (Click to read) Halloween 1990 at our apartment on East University (Click to Read)
