In the Water: Has been swimming since the age of four... Joined the Farmington Family YMCA Stingrays Swim Club (FFYS) in 5^th grade and swam for them until through high school, going to the YMCA national meet 5 times with that team.... Swam for the Kendallwood Summer Club swim team...Placed 8^th at states in the 100yd backstroke (2004).

Out of the Water: Won the Scholar Athlete Award (2007)...Works as a pharmacy technician...Is a research assistant for the Family Medicine Department making podcasts for their website...Also volunteers at the University of Michigan Hospital.... Competitive dancing experience in jazz, ballet, precision, and pointe...Won a gold medal with her solo pointe routine at a Chicago dance competition (2006).
