Health Disparities:

The Department of Health and Human Services has identified six areas in which racial and ethnis minorities experience significant disparities in health access and outcome: infant mortality, cancer screening and management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, HIV infection/AIDS, and immunizations. As part of his Initiative on Race, President Clinton announced in 1998 the goal of eliminating these health disparities by 2010.
