Upcoming Cultural Fair!
On Saturday, March 27th, 2004, UAAMSA will be hosting its annual Cultural
Fair. This year, the fair will include several workshops with speakers regarding Asian Pacific
American health, yoga, and other cultural activities. The keynote speaker will be
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN Chief Medical Correspondent and practicing neurosurgeon. Please check online for

Chapter of the Year Again (2002-2003)
At the 10th APAMSA National Conference in Washington DC, UAAMSA was
honored with the title of Established Chapter of the Year!
In addition, UAAMSA was the national Bone MArrow Drive winner, with the
most number of donors recruited (179 total). As the winner, UAAMSA will be able to send a
representative to the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Conference, all expenses paid.

At the APAMSA National Conference, UAAMSA and the
APAMSA chapter of Washington University were both honored with the title
of Chapter of the Year!

This year, we are planning our events
according to a different theme each month. This year's theme
months are:
September - Mentorship Month
October - APA Health Month
November - Alternative Medicine Month
January - APA Politics Month
February - Theme to be decided by M1s
March - Community Health Month
