The Proactive Magazine is your official guide to the Asian/Pacific Islander American (A/PIA) community at the University of Michigan. It is an annual free publication created by the students for the students. The content may vary year-to-year but in the past the Proactive has contained articles about A/PIA identity, interviews with current students demonstrating the great diversity within the A/PIA community, a listing of Asian-interest student organizations and Greek life at the U of M, and so much more. Furthermore, the magazine contains useful information on general student life at the University, including: places to eat, essential things to bring to college, and on-campus resources.

Although Proactive is geared towards the incoming U of M class, it also serves as a great reference for anyone interested in the A/PIA community.
