Visiting the W8UM station and hanging out with an experienced operator is the best way to learn how to operate equipment, how to make contacts, and ask lots of questions! (Licensed members get 24/7 access to the W8UM station.)
During the summer break (2012), please email the board at (w8umboard@umich.edu) if you would like to learn how to use the equipment (members only), or just take a tour. Current members of UMARC have key access to the shack, but we welcome any interested hams or potential hams to come visit.
