Come on by to learn about Amateur Radio at Michigan and meet the club members, get involved in club radio and antenna projects, and hear about upcoming club events. FREE PIZZA will be served at 7 PM!
Agenda:
- First, we will be giving an overview of the amateur radio club, and describe some of the projects and activities that are coming up.
- Then, we will discuss some of the ways that members can get involved in the club. If you have any interest in becoming an officer, helping out with projects, or helping to manage the radio station, please let me know!
- Finally, we will head up to the shack to show the operation of some of our radio systems. This will be a great opportunity for those who have recently obtained their license to learn how to run the station.
If you are new to ham radio or the club, attending our monthly meeting is the perfect way to learn more about the U-M Amateur Radio Club. We are a casual and friendly group of students, staff, faculty, and alumni, and are always eager to share our exciting hobby with others. 3437 EECS is located on the third floor of the EECS building on U-M's North Campus. Please email w8um.info@umich.edu for directions or more information.
