Ballroom Dancing includes partner dances such as ChaCha and Swing as well as the traditional Waltz and Tango. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age. No university affiliation is required, just a desire to have fun! We offer classes for all levels of dancers. From beginner classes for those with no experience and two left feet, to our advanced lesson series, everyone is dancing. No partner is required!
During lessons, dancers are encouraged to exchange partners to accelerate the process of learning to lead and follow. We dance almost every Sunday. If you have any questions please email the club at ballroom@umich.edu. We look forward to dancing with you!
