Thanks everyone for coming and making our competiton a success! Hopefully we will see each of you again next year!

Michigan's annual dance competition will be Saturday, February 9, 2008. It will be located at the Intermural Sports Building at the University of Michigan.

We will have a special showcase featuring USA professionals Arunas Bizokas and Katusha Demidova.

Our emcees this year will be Steven McFarren & Mark Brock. We will also have the following judges: Steven McFarren, Susan McFarren, Paul Holmes, Martin Lamb, Mark Brock, Terry Worrall, Gregory Day, and Tommye Giacchino. Our Scruitineer is Larry May.

Our vendor this year will be Toe To Toe Dancewear! Check them out at  www.toe2toe.com, and email toetotoe1@comcast.net if you have any  special requests for shoe styles and sizes you would like them to  bring.

Registration is closed, but late registration is still AVAILABLE! Email ballroom-exec@umich.edu with your name, partner's name, and the events you would like to enter.

Our rule for dance wear is that no costumes will be allowed in syllabus levels. 

Quick Annoucements:

• The schedule of the dances changed! Now it is in the order ot Newcomer, Bronze, Silver, Gold.

• Late registration is still AVAILABLE. Further information is above.

• There will be a Mixer Dance for you to meet other competitors and practice

• ALL FINALS will be held during the Night Show UNDER THE LIGHTS!  Lighting and sound will be provided by Quest Production this year.

• Limited crash space available for both nights, so email your space requests to ballroom-exec@umich.edu as soon as possible.
