James Diana

Research Interests: Fish energetics, including behavioral ecology and production of natural fish populations. Understanding of ecologically sensitive aquaculture practice and extensive aquaculture systems, particularly in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Diana received his Ph.D at the University of Alberta. He teaches "NR 330/507, Habitats and Organisms: Science of Interactions" during the UMBS summer session. He is currently Professor of Natural Resources at the School of Natural Resources and Environment and an Associate Research Scientist at the Center for Great Lakes and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Michigan.
