Research Interests: Systematics and faunistics of Lepidoptera, especially the Pyralidae. Biology and conservation of threatened and endangered insect species. Dr. Scholtens received his Ph.D at the University of Michigan. He teaches "Bio 442, Biology of Insects" during the UMBS summer session. He is currently Assistant Professor of Biology at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. |
