Here is how to get the awesome Earthweek logo designed by Tiiu!
Three versions of the logo are available to access:
- JPEG version seen below. To copy it, touch me baby then save
the document (easiest way is to hold the mouse button down while
pointing on the image until you see a
menu that has
save image as...
)
- Adobe Illustrator version
(see instructions below)
- PCX graphics file format is available through the same instructions
If you want the Adobe illustrator version (actually, any of the
versions
can be grabbed the same way), go find an FTP program (FETCH on a mac) and
load it up. Your host machine should be login.itd.umich.edu or any of the
machines that can get to the IFS filespace. Change directory (Apple-D in
FETCH) directly to this address:
/afs/umich.edu/group/soas/umej/Public/html/eic
You can download any of the three formats at this point, jpg is JPEG
format, pcx is (take a wild guess) .PCX format and .ill is the suffix
(delete the suffix when you have the doc on disk) for the Adobe
Illustrator version. Make sure you are downloading in BINARY mode
not text mode or auto. There is a button on FETCH, on a UNIX FTP
program, the command is "I"
Then you got it
The logo can also be found by coming to MSA, going to the computer in
back underneath the Earthweek banner and looking in the Env. Isssssues
folder under Earthweek 1997, in the Logo folder
