W E L C O M E From March 26-28, 1999, students and young activists from around the United States and Canada congregated at the University of Michigan's campus in Ann Arbor for the National Student Environmental Justice Conference. Here they shared ideas, experiences, and knowledge about environmental justice. Out of the conference came the National Student Environmental Justice Network, which links students and youth working on environmental justice issues nationwide.This page is maintained by the University of Michigan's Environmental Justice Group.
