Alexis had been involved with various forms of dance from ballet to jazz to modern to hip-hop for several years, but secretly always loved Irish dance best.  After a year and a half of college, all the while experiencing withdrawal from dance, she was excited to join Léim in the winter of 2007.  When not Irish dancing or in class, she fills the remainder of her schedule playing viola in Campus Symphony Orchestra, volunteering at UofM hospital, and working as a research assistant for the Department of Family Medicine.  Alexis is currently a junior in LS&A with a major in psychology and a minor in gender and health.
