Recording Notes:
In May of 2004 The University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club embarked on a 16-day tour of Ireland and Great Britain encompassing
Galway, Dublin, Flint (Wales), Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, and Cambridge. Concerts were held in such notable venues as
St. Nicholas Collegiate Church in Galway, Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin, Glasgow University Chapel, Greyfriars
Tolbooth and Highland Kirk in Edinburgh, and St. James Picadilly and St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London. This tour
saw the Club’s first appearance on the Emerald Isle and its first appearance in Great Britain in over 20 years.
On Saturday, November 13th, 2004, over 100 alumni of the University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club took to the stage of Hill
Auditorium in celebration of its 145th anniversary. The Michigan Songs jointly performed at that concert conclude this recording.
