Change of Tour location: From Madison, WI to Marathon, WI
Due to some problems in the city of Madison, WI, we are no longer touring this city. Instead, we would go to Marathon, WI, which is a few hours north of Madison. We would be singing at the Marathon High School at 7:30 PM on May 4. All other citys remain unaffected.

On May the 1st, the Glee Club will roll out of Ann Arbor for the first Midwest tour since 2001. That tour was fondly remembered by many past clubbers as one of their favorites during their tenure in club, so I hope that this year venture will go even better!

The Glee Club is excited to be sharing the stage on this tour with a variety of other performance groups. We will be starting our tour singing with the Marquette High School in the stunning St. Peter’s Cathedral in downtown Marquette. Then in Northfield Minnesota we will be singing with another all men’s ensemble, the Viking chorus of St. Olaf College. Their director, Chris Aspaas, is a Spartan graduate, but will still like him. While in Iowa City we will be singing with the choir from Iowa City West High School at the beautiful “Old Brick?community center. Finally, when we finish out tour in lovely Louisville, we will share the stage with the Youth Performing Arts School. This tour looks to be filled with a wide variety of music and musical styles, so if you are lucky enough to see more than one concert, you will be treated to a different show each night.

As any large undertaking, tour has required a lot of help from gentlemen in club. I would like to thank our director, Paul Rardin, for all the hard work he has already put in on my behalf. I would also like to thank last years tour manager, Ben Saukas, for without his help this endeavor would never have gotten off the ground. I would also like to thank Bill Couch for his hard work and my entire staff who helped with the tour book and program.

As always, the Glee Club could not tour without the support of our many alumni. If you would be interested in becoming a tour/concert sponsor or if you would be willing to host a few clubbers while we are in town, then please contact me through email mrwicker@umich.edu. The Midwest is the home of many clubbers and many of our wonderful alumni, we look forward to seeing you soon! We hope many of you will join us on stage and after the concerts for the Tradition, Camaraderie, and Musical Excellence that is the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club.
